HOW PANASONIC NETWORK CAMERAS WORK:
- Panasonic Network Cameras use the Internet for their
functionality
- Setting up a basic Panasonic Network Camera is
relatively easy. The cameras come with AC adapters, which you will
need to plug into a power supply. You will then connect the
camera(s) to either a router or switch via ethernet (cat 5, cat 6, etc.)
cable. Think of the cameras like little computers. Whatever
you would need to connect a computer to your network, you will need to do
the same with your cameras
- After you connect your camera(s), you could download
Panasonic's FREE software that enables you to view up to 16 cameras
simultaneously, available through PANATELDIRECT.COM
- Panasonic assigns you a web address, where you can view
your cameras from anywhere you have an Internet connection.
- PANATELDIRECT.COM is available for installation and
programming services in the New York Region, and we provide free tech
support nationwide.
OVERVIEW:The Panasonic BL-C230 is a pan/tilt-capable IP camera designed for
use by small businesses and in domestic residences. Its pan/tilt
functionality allows it to cover a wider field of view than a
conventional fixed camera. Alongside this, H.264 video compression
reduces the network bandwidth requirements of the camera by up to 80%,
a useful feature for small business and home owners where network
resources can be limited.
The BL-C230 also features colour night view, which automatically
adjusts the brightness of the image in poor lighting conditions.
Built-in motion and audio alarms can trigger recording and notify you
via e-mail of activity, and a passive infrared sensor can detect body
heat from intruders even in complete darkness, offering a 24-hour
detection solution.
An integrated microphone and speaker enables you to listen to the
camera's environment and activate an audible warning, if required.
External inputs allow you to further customize the camera for a wide
variety of applications. As well as this, the BL-C230 has a privacy
button, which can be pressed to close the camera lens - useful in
domestic situations where surveillance is only required if the premises
are empty.
Key features & benefits of Panasonic BL-C230
