HOW PANASONIC NETWORK CAMERAS WORK:
- Panasonic Network Cameras use the Internet for their
functionality
- Setting up a basic Panasonic Network Camera is
relatively easy. The cameras come with AC adapters, which you will
need to plug into a power supply. You will then connect the
camera(s) to either a router or switch via ethernet (cat 5, cat 6, etc.)
cable. Think of the cameras like little computers. Whatever
you would need to connect a computer to your network, you will need to do
the same with your cameras
- After you connect your camera(s), you could download
Panasonic's FREE software that enables you to view up to 16 cameras
simultaneously, available through PANATELDIRECT.COM
- Panasonic assigns you a web address, where you can view
your cameras from anywhere you have an Internet connection.
- PANATELDIRECT.COM is available for installation and
programming services in the New York Region, and we provide free tech
support nationwide.
OVERVIEW:The Panasonic BL-C121 is a wireless IP camera designed for use in
small business or domestic locations. The camera has full wireless
connectivity, giving you greater flexibility when deciding where to
install the camera, as it does not need a physical connection to your
network. The BL-C121 also features a built-in web server, enabling you
to view a feed from the camera via an internet connection on any
standard web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Safari. To further
expand your options for viewing and recording, the included Panasonic
software gives you an out-of-the-box monitoring and recording solution.
The BL-C121 features 10x digital zoom, enabling you to isolate areas
of the camera's field of view for detailed surveillance. The camera's
colour night view functionality automatically optimises the image in
poor lighting conditions. Built-in motion detection can trigger
recording and inform you of any activity in the camera's field of view.
A built-in microphone provides you with an audio feed from the camera's
environment, if required.
The BL-C121 can also be configured with your computer to trigger an
audible warning from the computer if an external sensor is activated or
motion is detected. This is an useful feature if monitoring facilities
are left unattended for long periods of time. The camera's capabilities
can be further expanded using the external input.
