HOW PANASONIC NETWORK CAMERAS WORK:

• Panasonic Network Cameras use the Internet for their functionality
• Setting up a basic Panasonic Network Camera is relatively easy.  The cameras come with AC adapters, which you will need to plug into a power supply.  You will then connect the camera(s) to either a router or switch via ethernet (cat 5, cat 6, etc.) cable.  Think of the cameras like little computers.  Whatever you would need to connect a computer to your network, you will need to do the same with your cameras
• After you connect your camera(s), you could download Panasonic's FREE software that enables you to view up to 16 cameras simultaneously, available through PANATELDIRECT.COM
• Panasonic assigns you a web address, where you can view your cameras from anywhere you have an Internet connection.

The Panasonic BB-HCM715 is an indoor 1.3 megapixel IP camera with controllable pan and tilt operation. With a 1.3 megapixel sensor the BB-HCM715 delivers images at 4x the resolution of VGA quality cameras giving
sharper, more detailed images. Supporting H.264 compression the camera can stream video at reduced bit-rates allowing for reduce bandwidth and storage requirements, all without loss of image quality.

Power over Ethernet support on the Panasonic BB-HCM715 allows power and data to share the same network cable for easy one-cable installation. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Panasonic BB-HCM715 IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
