HOW PANASONIC NETWORK CAMERAS WORK:
- Panasonic Network Cameras use the Internet for their
functionality
- Setting up a basic Panasonic Network Camera is
relatively easy. The cameras come with AC adapters, which you will
need to plug into a power supply. You will then connect the
camera(s) to either a router or switch via ethernet (cat 5, cat 6, etc.)
cable. Think of the cameras like little computers. Whatever
you would need to connect a computer to your network, you will need to do
the same with your cameras
- After you connect your camera(s), you could download
Panasonic's FREE software that enables you to view up to 16 cameras
simultaneously, available through PANATELDIRECT.COM
- Panasonic assigns you a web address, where you can view
your cameras from anywhere you have an Internet connection.
- PANATELDIRECT.COM is available for installation and
programming services in the New York Region, and we provide free tech
support nationwide.
OVERVIEW:The Panasonic BB-HCM580 is a PTZ network security camera suitable
for a wide range of CCTV monitoring and surveillance applications for
your
business or home.
It offers controllable pan/tilt operation and a large 21x optical
zoom which can be controlled over the local network (LAN) or across the
Internet. The images are delivered by a CCD imaging sensor providing
sharp results at a maximum resolution of 640x480 (VGA) pixels and a
frame rate of up to 30fps.
The BB-HCM580 includes a Colour Night View Mode, allowing the camera
to capture full colour images in low-light conditions down to 0.09 lux.
Advanced features include email or FTP based image transfer on a
scheduled event or an alarm trigger such as motion detection or
external sensor inputs. Images can also be recorded internally on SD
Memory card giving a recording solution when no network connection is
available. The camera comes complete with a free 1 camera license for
the Panasonic Network Camera Recorder software providing a complete
security surveillance and monitoring solution straight out of the box.
Like all IP surveillance cameras available from Network Webcams, the
Panasonic BB-HCM580 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a
Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet.
