The KX-TA824 is a low-cost solution for big telecommunications needs that are now required by home and small businesses to keep pace with the competition. The basic KX-TA824 is equipped with one internal master board that supports three outside lines and eight internal lines (3X8 configuration). The KX-TA824 has a hybrid design allowing users to connect either Panasonic KX-T7700 series proprietary telephones or single line devices such as standard telephones, fax machines or modems to any station port in the system without special hardware.
Backward Compatible
The KX-TA824 control unit is compatible with all Panasonic KX-T7700 series telephones, KX-T7800 series cordless telephones, industry standard single line telephones (SLT), and fax machines without adding any special hardware to the control unit. The system is also backward compatible allowing you to connect older, Panasonic KX-T7000 and KX-T7300 series telephones.
Room-to-Room Intercom
The KX-TA824 Advanced Hybrid Telephone System’s Room-to-Room Intercom takes the place of a traditional intercom while offering easy operation and a host of home conveniences. You can call any room in the house from any telephone in the house. And with the convenient Auto Answer function activated, the person you called may reply without even picking up the telephone. If you’re finishing up some important paper work in the home office, this feature lets you speak to family members without leaving your desk.
