The Panasonic KX-TDA50 Digital Phone System utilizes digital technology to bring you an advanced phone system at a very reasonable price. This phone system is economical because it comes equipped with a power supply and comes initially configured as 4 lines and 4 extensions. It is very similar to the Panasonic KX-TDA50, but it has a few more capabilities such as having the ability to network between up to 8 locations (you would need the IP Gateway Card for this function; and you would also need a KX-TDA50 system in each location with the Gateway Card).

The KX-TDA50 can be expanded to 8 incoming lines, 28 Single Line Telephones, 4 DSS Consoles (secretary stations), 24 KX-T7600 Series Digital Proprietary Telephones, 4 KX-TDA0155 Cell Stations (with the Optional AC Adapter the number of Cell Stations allowed increases to 8), 28 KX-TD7685 or KX-TD7695 Wireless Handsets, and 4 Doorphones. For the expansion of the KX-TDA50 phone system, there are Central Office and Station Cards. For features such as remote administration, caller ID, and door opener capabilities, please refer to the KX-TDA50 Accessories.

COMPATIBLE VOICE MAIL:

In terms of voice mail for the KX-TDA50, the Panasonic KX-TVA50 Voice Mail System functions well with this system. You can ring multiple extensions from the voice mail. When someone calls in and the auto attendant picks up the phone and says “hello, you have reached Walt Disney World, for Sales press 1, for customer service press 2,” you can set up a group of phones to ring for that extension. This voice mail unit give you 2 ports of voice mail to start, and can grow to 6 ports with the KX-TVA Expansion Cards. What 2 ports means is that if someone is on the voice mail system, it can handle someone else utilizing the system at the same time. Usually 2 ports are sufficient for a small business of less than 10 people. On digital systems such as this, 2 voice mail ports only take up 1 extension.

If you want us or your technician to be able to access and program your KX-TDA50 or TX-TVA50 from a remote location, you will need a Remote Administration Card for them.
